Though we are not serious mountain climbers, we do enjoy walking the Lakes when time allows us. We have often been asked about our hikes, where we have been, what was it like, what walks do we recommend etc... So we have decided to add a page to our Website which gives a brief decription of our walks. This will also, we hope, give those of you who are not familiar with the Lake District a taste of what it can offer. Detailed directions for some of these walks can be found in guide books in the hotel and in your welcome folder. Please note that the descriptions are in no way meant to be used as directions on these walks.

Also we have included two seperate Gallery pages showing both colour and Black & White photographs, all concerning the Lakes. These might have been taken on a walk or simply taken after screeching to a halt in the car when passing a not-to-be missed scene.
